In the pre activity:


Small 15 min Whole

In the pre part, first I will be reviewing with them the names of coins, and then
ask them to label each of the coin with the value of it.
Students will come over to the board, and then will stick the name of the coin on
the board, and will write down the value of it.
40 min Time:

Teaching part:
In teaching part I will be demonstrating to them the adding way by the value of
coins, by using the coins and figure out the amount of the number.
( For example )- Use coins Show the amount in a two ways / 61 =
25+25+10+1=61.
Time:

I will be giving the some examples of the exercise on the board,


Students will come over to the board from each group and will solve on question.
Students will be working independently on their books, on page 349,350,351 ,
and they will be provided with coins to do the activity
Closing activity :
The closing activity that I will be doing with them is about each group will take
an activity, from the mystery box. One member of the group will take a paper
from the box and will read which activity they will be doing. There are 3 types of
activity: first activity is they will be solving adding values questions, other
activity is about they will sort the coins based on their values, and the tired
activity is they will be drawing the coins and will libel the coins with their values .

Assessment :
In the end I will assessing them and making sure if they get the information in a
correct way or not, by having one more quick and simple activity, which is I will be
showing them the coins and ask them the name of the coin and the value, more
over the closing activity its self is assessment, where I will know if the understand
the lesson or not.

Something goes good in the lesson :
In the begging of the lesson I did with them pre-activity to make them active for
the lesson which is students will come to the board and will stick the name of the
coin with the value, I did this kind of activity because, I notice that students like
the kinetic way of learning so, when the teacher will follow the way that students
like to get their education they will produce. The activity goes well because they
have a good background of the idea of the activity, but during the activity, I face
some misbehavior which is shouting for coming up to the board. However, I deal
with this misbehavior with saying that if you people stile will be doing this we will
not continue the activity " but after that, they behave in a good way.
In next part I start my teaching, where I was demonstrating to them how to add
the values of the coins to figure out the amount that they have it , and during that
I was showing them the coins so they can be remembering the name of coins with
the values of them, because all the lesson is based on it, and before they do the
work in their books, I did with them some practices on the board. Moreover I was
giving them a chance to try solving the problem. During that some students were
busy on doing other things, so after the student who comes to the board is done
with the problem, I ask one of the students that were busy on doing other things,
do you think that this answer is correct? so this way make the student be focus,
because they become aware that teacher can ask at any time .
After illustrating the topic, students did their work in the book independently, and
they were provided with the coins to do the activity , and during that so students
find difficulty with it , but in each group I did a teacher helper, where they was
monitoring the group students and help them if they dont know how to do, and I
was helping them too, the reason that I did this strategy is because to keep the
students busy even they are finish, and this also will prevent misbehavior .

Something happened, but it could occur in a batter way.


At the end of the lesson did with the mystery box activity where, each group will
take an activity, from the mystery box. On member of the group will take a paper
from the box and will read which activity they will be doing. There are 3 types of
activity: first activity is they will be solving adding values questions, another
activity is about they will sort the coins based on their values, and the tired activity
is they will be drawing the coins and will label the coins with their values , some
group did the activity where quickly because the activity that comes to them was
lower than their ability, and other students face difficulty in doing the activity ,
because it wasnt on their instructional level, and some students were asking for
other activity, so because distributing the activity I will distribute it base on their
academic level.
Next Steps in learning and teaching.
The next step on teaching will be differention of activities based on students level .
