Time Instructional Procedures and Strategies
Beginning the Lesson:
- Reaction Game: Students will be asked to stand up from their seats and

followed by a question of what might the students think about it and

s - The teacher will then share that Solomon Islanders think that the
Dragon Snake is a giant ghost and when an American soldier saw it,
he described and identified it as a UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) as
what they call it in America and most of the people in the world. This is
connected to a myth story that originated from the Solomon Islands.

Reflection:
This lesson plan was very interactive to the students. The students asked questions
about the story and they recited well and understood the different type of jobs in
Solomon Islands and in their own community/country. They also learned and enjoyed
hearing about their classmates culture.
