A presentation is an informative talk a more knowledgeable person makes to less knowledgeable
persons.
Purpose: to inform an audience of certain facts, ideas, concepts, and explanations.
Presentation depends on degree of formality, which kinds of talk, length, with whom.
Steps:
Preparation: establish topic, collect, review, organize the available
Delivery: focus students attention, present learners with learning objectives, use an advance
organizer, present information in an origination step by step manner, provide explanations that
are completely accurate, and clear, when teaching a new idea or concept, use both examples an
non-examples, keep presentation, expect and solicit interaction in the form of questions and
commands

resolve a problem.
Purpose: review and extent what students have learned in order to ensure their mastery of a
