- Assembled the components referred to above, take
the shields assembly and the internal shell and insert it
into the external shell. By a slight pressure, all the parts
assembled inside the external shell, place the rotating
pivots of the shields at the holes on the shell.
- Insert, optionally, in the proper seats positioned on the
external shell, one of the two, right or left, lateral supports
(19), by applying a slight pressure until inserting it inside
the set of assembled items inside the shell. Utilising one
of the two steel closing pins (20), screw lightly the set
of assembled components in order to keep it together,
through the closing pin located internally and the lateral
support located externally.
Repeat the same procedure for the other lateral support,
making sure of applying pressure on the shield rotation
pivot, so that it is aligned with the matching hole.
- Lock by screwing the internal closing pins (20) by using
the supplied Allen wrench and making sure of moving
the two shields before final tightening;
- Reassemble the retention system as indicated in para-
graph 3.1.b.
- Apply the chinstrap (21) by sliding it over the retention
rachets.
