Position: Executive Director
Job Description:
Record and maintain accounting records for the Organization and present an accurate report to the Board of
Directors at their monthly meetings. Be responsible and accountable for all income, expenses, deposits, taxes
and to administrate necessary procedures within the guidelines of the Articles, By-laws and Policies of this
organization with the cooperation and approval of the Board of Directors. Sign, along with the Secretary, or any
other proper office of the Organization authorized by the Board of Directors, any Deeds, Mortgages, Bonds,
Contracts or other instruments which the Board of Directors have authorized to be executed. This individual
must be bonded. Along with these duties, this position is responsible for scheduling rentals, providing
supervision when the Center is scheduled to be open, administer programs and help with developing programs
specifically with the intent to increase fundraising efforts allowing the ACC to remain financially stable. This
includes developing programs and fundraising events, administering publicity essential to programming and any
other aspect involved in programming and fundraising. The Director must be able to develop and administer a
public relations program throughout the supporting community, maintain rapport with the Board of Directors to
administer the directives and policies as set forth by the Board and hire and/or fire additional staff as necessary
to fulfill the purpose of the Alexandria Community Center with the cooperation of the Board of Directors. The
input and ability of the individual hired will help define the scope of this position. This is not intended to be a
complete list of job duties and responsibilities but an overview of the Boards expectations.

FLSA Status:
Non-exempt
Effective Date: Immediate, no later than May 15, 2017
Reporting Relationship: Alexandria Community Center Board of Directors
Work Schedule: 32 - 40 Hours per week/flexible schedule with board approval
Rate of Pay: $28,000-$36,000 - Based on Fundraising activities, experience, etc.
Overtime: By management approval only
Benefits: 2 Weeks Paid Vacation, Must be used within the calendar year

time with or without cause by either the Employer or the employee. No employee or
management, except the President of the Board, has any authority to enter into an agreement
for a specified period of time, or to make any agreement contrary to the above stated
agreement.
