Title of Project
An investigation into the operations of the Human Resource Department of Nestl
Trinidad Limited.

Aims
The two aims of this SBA are:
1. The Functions and operations of the Human Resource Department.
2. A better understanding of the Human Resource Department.

Function
Two function that was used for the SBA are:
1. Recruitment- Carry out a needs analysis to establish a job exists so that job
description and job specification are draw up.
2. Interview- An interview is a formal discussion when one person is providing
information to other people.

Methodology
What: The instrument I used to gather all my data and information is a
questionnaire. A questionnaire is paper document that is a printed or written contain
question with a choice of answers.
Why: I chose these because it easy for workers to fill out in matter of minutes and
it get more information.

How: On the of our trip to Nestl Trinidad Limited, I disturbed my questionnaire
around the Human Resource Department and got back an excellent response from
all.

This is a research base project of the Human Resource Department of Nestl of
Trinidad and Tobago. This project is the aim to understand the operation of the
Human Resource Department. In pursing in this project there were some hurdle in
getting the information which amounted to some difficulties.
Some of the limitations is as stated, did not fully understand the procedure
proceeding to attempt the SBA. That prove to be challenging to say the least. The
questions for the questionnaire were a bit at the point in conducting the research, I
lost some information and had to visit Nestl several times to acquire the
information. That was also time consuming and challenging which lead to my finding
into what the operation/function of the Human Resource Management is all about.
A Human Resource Manger is a person who ensure that business complies with its
legal responsibilities.
They develop staffs into the department they are skilled at. Ensure staff has a proper
welfare in the work place. make sure disciplinary procedures are in place.
What I understand about the HRM is he/she insure the business runs smooth.
This graphs shows the positive and negative response base on my questions.
