Exam tip: the problem with these forms is one of grammar. Can, cant and mustnt are all
followed by the infinitive without to, whereas not allowed is followed by to. Also, we use the
verb to be before not allowed to (I am not allowed to, she is not allowed to, etc)

Exam tip: to make these transformation, you often need to write and adjective with the
opposite meaning to the one in the first sentence. Make sure you know the opposites of
common adjectives.
