Procedure Hook: Students will play a kahoot.it game on PA state
facts to base their prior knowledge.
Modeling of the Concept
The teacher will discuss each area of the lab sheet.
The teacher will open every site that is used in the web
quest and show students how to navigate the site.
Guiding the Practice
The teacher will ask questions based off of the lab sheet
and ask student what they would do in order to find the
information in the given site.
Providing the Independent Practice
Students will fill out the lab sheet with a partner will
visiting the assigned websites on the web quest.
Transition
Once finished, students will independently make a Venn
diagram of the similarities and difference of
Pennsylvania when it was natural and after it was
influenced by man

teacher will ask the lab sheet questions aloud and have
the class answer.

technological environment.
