I like that this course includes a teaching major focus,so I am able to work
with the technology like I would actually be able to use it in the future. I look
most forward tolearning how to eectively use technology in lessons and to
learn about how to include technology in teaching, becausetechnology use is
rapidly increasing.

2. I am most concerned about having a MAC rather than a PC to complete the

work for this class. Although it could cause an issue, I don't see it interfering
with my completion of the work. I have already thought of a plan in case of
anything happening. I do not have concern for the content, however, because I
have taken a previouscourse here about Microsoft Oce programs.

3. Often times, in education, a "smart" white board is used. This is used to

write, highlight, manipulate documents and sites while on the board, easily. In
addition, students can use this, too, to interact with the lesson. Another tool
used in education I have noticed in my past classroom observations is a
microphone. Although the classrooms are small in elementary schools, teachers
use them so everyone in class can hear, and to ensure that the students
continue to pay attention in class. This is a useful tool in a large classroom, too,
in order to make sure everyone is able to hear.
