Appendix H RITE Naming Convention.

In an effort to standardise the convention used for the WHE equipment in the field the following naming convention
should be implemented for all assets as entered into RITE version 1.7 or later. All of your existing assets in use in
the location today should be renamed in RITE with this standard system.

All components of the WHE system must be managed and tracked individually e.g. BOP, Tool Catcher, Grease
Head, Crossovers, Pressure Skid etc. and must be entered into the RITE system. All of the information fields on the
equipment description; pressure rating; connection types; certification status etc, shall be completed in RITE
database.

See table H-1 below for the asset naming convention, table H-2 for the WHE Toolset naming convention and table
H-3 for Auxiliary Equipment.

To avoid duplication of equipment name and serial numbers in the RITE system all items, currently in the field,
should be given a new asset serial number beginning with the location code/number followed by a three-digit
number (e.g. ADT-001, 864-001 etc.)

In the future equipment will be delivered from the suppliers with the new RITE asset code already stamped on the
equipment and recorded in the equipment quality file. For this pre-stamped equipment a serial number (taken from
the suppliers manufacturing job number) will also have been marked on the equipment. If present this serial number
should be used as the asset serial number and recorded into RITE and the fixed asset list.

Table H-1 RITE Asset Name Convention.

The Asset Name in RITE must have the following form: WaabyyKz.z

Where W Indicates that the asset is a WHE Pressure Component (used for sorting)

aa Asset Type as per the list below.

b Defines if equipment is for Standard (S) or H2S (H) service

yy Pressure Rating (working) in Kpsi (ie 03, 05, 10 or 15)

z.z The nominal equipment ID in inches.

Where equipment is maintained in sets the assets can be grouped under a Tool Set name as per below:-

Some items used in Pressure control operations have to be tracked for maintenance purpose.
The following codes are available from the FCC listing to be entered in RITE and followed up.

WHE-GAUGE : pressure gauges used in conjunction with WHE
