All Spans Are Not Created Equal Nu-Wave

Nu-Wave comes in three configurations for

unrepeatered applications, with each configuration
optimized to provide the best performing, most Bridging the Gap
economical solution for the specific application.
Nu-Wave bridges the gap between terrestrial LH/ULH
Nu-Wave ES (Extended Span): Enhanced Nu-Wave systems and repeatered submarine systems. The
system optimized for spans up to 50 dB of loss common Nu-Wave platform supports terrestrial LH/ULH
Nu-Wave LS (Long Span): Additional amplifier applications, unrepeatered applications, as well as
enhancements to support long spans hybrid applications.
Nu-Wave XLS (Extra Long Span): Forward Raman
pumping to achieve an additional 6 dB of performance Terminal
