Lesson Plan March 15, 2017 (1:15-2:30 pm) Cycle Level: 3, Grade 6

related to Christianity.

answering questions, discussing Christianity, and creating 10 Commandments.

fundamentals of Christianity. I hope to provide students with an engaging lesson that stimulates their higher
thinking, and allows them to exercise their creativity.
Time Lesson

Introduction:
5 minutes Discuss KWL chart & students findings: In pairs, discuss which question they chose to research
and what they found.

5 minutes As a class, discuss the students findings, adding their responses to the KWL chart.

5 minutes In pairs, students will discuss their own definitions for religion.
Students will be asked to write their responses on to the SMARTboard.

As a class, we will discuss students responses, and create a class definition of religion.
