Science Project
Keep working on the landform science project! If
you have any questions, please do not hesitate to
ask. The students are bringing home a yellow
science binder that will have information to start
their project. A great place to start looking is
http://worldlandforms.com
Science projects are due on May 1st. The can be
essays, power point presentations, youtube video
that your child records, diorama, poster board, etc.
We are excited to see what you child has learned!
Reminders
We have a half day of school next Friday, April
28th. Students will be dismissed at 11:48 a.m.
Spring is upon us! If anyone wants to set up a
Spring Conference, please contact us for a time to
meet either before or after school.
We are in need of bleach wipes! Our classroom
is out and we use these all the time to clean our
room and disinfect germs. If you have any that
you can send in, we would be most thankful!!

Field Trip
For planning purposes, our next field trip is June
1st at the Detroit Zoo. The cost is $13 for students
and $7 for adults (transportation not included).
Parents will be permitted to sign their child out
with classroom teachers at the end of the field trip
and stay longer at the Detroit Zoo if they wish.
Permission slips will be coming home shortly.
This field trip will be longer than the usual school
day. We will be returning to school at 4:00pm on
June 1st to allow for more time to stay at the zoo.
You will need to pick your child up from school at
4:00pm on June 1st, unless you sign them out at the
zoo.
Please remember that it takes approximately two
weeks to approve a volunteer form. If you would
like to chaperone this trip, please fill out a
volunteer form asap. Volunteer forms are needed
yearly, so last years form will not work.
