(Court Appointed Special Advocate)
CASA is a program which recruits, trains and supervises volunteer
Court Appointed Special Advocates to advocate for the best interests
of children involved in juvenile court proceedings primarily as a result of
abuse and/or neglect. The volunteer will, in the course of the
assignment , work with the Juvenile Court, Department of Childrens
The Miller Family Services, case managers, attorneys, natural parents, foster care
placements, teachers, doctors, counselors, and most importantly, the
child. The CASA Volunteer submits a comprehensive, objective report
