1956(1 of 1956) with the basic intention of Ministry of Railways to develop an organization to

management and provide state of the art engineering, technical, financial and management
consultancy services to the world, the organization later diversified in Multidisciplinary services in
the consultancy, project management, design and engineering procurement, quality assurance,

Major Projects:

• Bailey Road: Bailey Road ROB is a two lane two way roads over bridge proposed at
Danapur- Sonepur Mainline on Patna to Danapur highway. This ROB is located adjacent to the
old bridge near the locality Khajpura including approaches. Length of approach before abutment
A1 is 320.485m and beyond abutment A2 is 336.308m. Length of main bridge is 387.627m.
Arrangement at superstructure level of main bridge is: 3x24.483m +2x24.483m + 2 x 18.3m + 3 x
37.46m + 1x 18.3m + 2 x 2x 24.483m.

• Double Decker Steel Bridge at River Ganga in Munger : One double decker of 125m
span was designed by Construma for estimation purposes. New drawings was developed good
for fabrication.

• PSC Box Girder (Post Tensioned Type & Hollow Slabs) : A PRC girder due to
restricted depth prestressed concrete box was designed of multiple spans and drawings were
modified and made new due to changes from time to time.

• Allahabad Bridge Errection Scheme : More than 30m span railway bridge with
multispans were also used for carrying two pipes having more than 1.5 dia to sewer pipes, which
was damaging the bridge and a new bridge for carrying the heavy sewage pipes was designed
and about 5 drawings were prepared for the alternative.

 • Jammu & Kashmir Project : J&K is a prestigious project of government of India and this
is the biggest bridge challenge for Railway Bridge Engineers to make BG line in this hilly area
with unstable rocks.
• Telecom Project: Preparation of drawings showing current fibers to be blown in various
colonies of Delhi with the help of survey report.
