Project Charter

TARS (Chat bot)

Authorization
This Charter formally authorizes TARS Project to be developed and implemented as
a Virtual PA, an Organizer and a chat bot, for use in daily life of users or answer the
different queries or question or any health issue in daily life. A project plan will be
developed and submitted to the Project Sponsor for approval. The project plan will
include: scope statement; schedule; cost estimate; budget; and provisions for
scope, resource, schedule, communications, quality, risk, procurement, and
stakeholder management as well as project control. No special resources needed.

Project Scope
The purpose of TARS project is to assist users to use their personal
computers more efficiently with an intelligent Virtual PA which will ease many
processes or store different information which user get when it need and get
health information. Projects deliverables will include the source code, an
Installer Setup and a manual for operating the interface as at now we are
intending to implement a bash like interface (Command Line).
The objectives of TARS are to help users organize and remember things,
provide emotional support and many more features to be added in near
future. One more important feature will be that TARS will be a learner. It will
learn from its users. There are handsome chances that each individual users
TARS will be different from other individuals.
High level risks for this project include ensuring interface implementation is
completed without impacting ongoing module level integration that can
cause problems otherwise. Success will be determined by Professor Sabeen
Javaid once the project has been completed.
Project Manager
The Project Manager, Hina humayun , is hereby authorized to interface with
management as required, negotiate for resources, delegate responsibilities
within the framework of the project, and to communicate with all contractors
and management, as required, to ensure successful and timely completion of
the project. She is responsible for developing the project plan, monitoring the
schedule, and scope of the project during implementation, and maintaining
control over the project by measuring performance and taking corrective
action. He is also responsible for maintaining its source control over Git, in
case of successful completion.

Milestones Summary
The project plan will be submitted and approved in accordance with the
milestone schedule below. Upon approval of the project plan resources will
be assigned to the project and work will commence within 3 months. A
detailed schedule will be included in the project plan. The high level
milestone schedule is:
Apr 13 Project Plan Complete and Approved
Apr 20 TARS Design Completed
May 30 Coding Completed
June 5 Testing Completed
June 15 Beta Testing Completed
June 20 Implementation Completed
July 1 One Payroll Cycle Complete and Project Completion

Budget
The budget for the TARS project is $22,500. It is to be funded through
University of Gujrat, Sialkot Campus.
