INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. Candidates should check their Hall ticket and other information and in case of any discrepancy, it should immediately be
reported to the Member Secretary, Teacher Recruitment Board, Chennai for necessary action.

2. The reporting time of the candidates at the examination centre is 8:30 am.

3. Frisking by police personnel will be done at the entrance of the examination centre. No candidate will be allowed inside
the exam centre gate after 9:30 am.

4. Use of Pencils, Calculators, Log tables and Communication devices like Cellular Phone, Pager etc. is not allowed in the
examination hall and you are instructed not to bring such items and materials to the examination centre.

5. Candidates should enter the examination hall latest by 9:30 am and make necessary entries in the OMR answer sheet
and attendance sheet.

6. Candidates are informed that they are provisionally admitted to this written examination, subject to the final decision of
the TRB on their eligibility for this exam.

7. No Candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall after 10:00 am under any circumstances. No Candidate will
be allowed to leave the examination hall during the examination.

8. Candidates should bring along with them only Blue / Black Ball point pen to fill up the OMR answer sheet.

9. OMR Answer sheet should be carefully filled up as per instructions given in the Question Booklet and on the OMR
answer sheet. The duplicate copy of the OMR given to the candidates after the examination should be retained till the
selection process is over.

10. If the OMR answer sheet is not properly filled or wrongly filled, the OMR shall be rejected.
