The simplest evacuation during a power failure

The EVAC 3 series units are evacuation modules specifically
designed for elevator technology. The compact construction
and sophisticated design make the modules perfect for both
control cabinet installation (EVAC 3B) and wall installation
(EVAC 3C).

Functional description
The EVAC 3 evacuation unit monitors the power supply of the
ZETADYN 3 frequency inverter. With the drop out of one or
more phases the ZETADYN 3 will be disconnected from the
mains power supply. At the same time, the elevator control is
informed about the mains failure. The battery supply voltage
is switched in, time delayed.

The EVAC 3 evacuation unit switches the ZETADYN 3 into

emergency operation mode and the elevator can be run at
reduced speed, direction-independent.

An expensive and delayed rescue of trapped passengers by

external personnel is no longer necessary.

installation in a control cabinet.
In combination with the ZETADYN 3BF, the perfect solu-
tion.

in the machine room or in the elevator shaft.

The external main switch provides problem-free use with

machine room less elevators.

Battery set

Both evacuation units require a battery set for the power sup-
ply of the frequency inverter and additional components.

The required voltage and capacity of the battery set is deter-

mined by the technical data of the motor and the duration or
number of evacuation trips.
