7) From here you can start your conference
8) Invite others to join either giving them your personal link or sending them an email

9) You are then able to share your screen or window with the members in your conference
10) With the PRO upgrade; you can write on the screen, record the conference, and manage
the members

Ideas for how the tool - For a 4th grade SOL 4.7 involving Earth Science, join.me can be used for group
can be used in PK-12 discussions in investigating and understanding the organization of the solar
system. Students can use photos showing the planets in the solar system. They can
use these photos to illustrate the order in which the planets reside.
- For a 5th grade SOL 5.12 for Geometry, students can use join.me in classifying
angles as right, acute, obtuse, or straight using the shapes provided in the
whiteboard feature. There, the can edit these angles using different colors.
Students can screen share their creations to compare.
- For 6th-8th grades SOL 6-8.14 of Computer Technology, join.me is the perfect
example for students to organize and display knowledge and understanding in
ways that others can view, use, and assess. Add meaning to individual and group
ideas and products through creative work.

Ideas for how the tool - For 2nd grade SOL 2.17 for Probability and Statistics; the student will use data
can be used in PK-12 from experiments to construct picture graphs, pictographs, and bar graphs. Using
twiddla would allow students to compare their findings by sharing their graphs
with the data they have collected.

4) Using the action feature, host can invite others to the meeting and view who is attending
5) In the meeting, you can share files and edit using drawings with everyone

Ideas for how the tool - For 7th grade SOL 7.3 of English Strand: communication: speaking, listening,
can be used in PK-12 media literacy, students would be able to use mighty meeting for a group project.
The student will understand the elements of media literacy to craft and publish
audience-specific media messages. They would be able to brainstorm with the
group on ideas for types of media messages.

Positives and Positives:

the tool - Students can easily upload files, data, and photos
- Interactive whiteboard feature
- Conference content can be saved in a cloud
- Can be used with Apple or Android devices without internet (can use Bluetooth)
Negatives:
- Geared more towards secondary students
- Must be downloaded
- After 14-day free trial, you must pay for it
- Meeting room holds only 4 users at a time

4) Begin sketching! Stamps and backgrounds can be used along with the drawing feature.
5) All users can view sketch as well as edit in real-time.

Ideas for how the tool - For the Kindergarten SOL K.7 of Mathematics: Measurement. The student will
can be used in PK-12 recognize a penny, nickel, dime, and quarter and will determine the value of a
collection of pennies and/or nickels whose value is 10 cents or less. Cosketch
would be helpful for the student to visual what each coin looks like and the
amount that it represents.

- Sketches can be saved as an embeddable image
Negatives:
- It is a PC type of program, not used on phones or tablets
- Drawings only, cannot type/use text
- Sketches will be deleted if not saved
