Introduccin

En este trabajo construiremos un vocabulario tcnico de negociaciones


internacionales en ingls con 15 palabras, generado de acuerdo a la lectura y
anlisis sobre cuatro artculos que muestran los esfuerzos de Colombia para
fortalecer el turismo, promover la creacin de empleo, apoyar proyectos
empresariales, abrir mercados y buscar inversiones.
2. Objetivos

Conformar un vocabulario que nos beneficie en nuestra carrera y en


nuestras relaciones de negocios.

Utilizar artculos en ingles sobre economa en Colombia para obtener


trminos nuevos.
3. Evidencia 11: Definicin de conceptos tcnicos en ingles

Business: An organization or economic system where goods and services are


exchanged for one another or for money.

Every business requires some form of investment and enough customers to whom
its output can be sold on a consistent basis in order to make a profit.
Businesses can be privately owned, not-for-profit or state-owned.

Environment: The sum total of all surroundings of a living organism, including


natural forces and other living things, which provide conditions for development
and growth as well as of danger and damage.

Progress: Extent of the advance or move toward the completion of a job, program,
or Project, or the attainment of an objective.

Development: The process of economic and social transformation that is based


on complex cultural and environmental factors and their interactions.

Vendor: A person who sells something, especially a property.

Employed: Persons who are employed full.time or part-time during a specified


payroll period. Temporary employees and those on paid-leave are included in this
definition.

Commerce: Exchange of goods or services for money or in kind, usually on a


scale large enough to require transportation from place to place or across city, or
national boundaries.

Partnership agreement: Written agreement between two or more individuals who


join as partners to form and carry on a for-profit business. Among other things, it
states the nature of the business, capital contributed by each partner, and their
rights and responsibilities.

A partnership does not have a separate legal existence like an incorporated firm,
and the partners are jointly and severally liable for the debts of the firm. Even on
withdrawing from the partnership they remain liable for already incurred debts, and
for future debts unless a proper notice of retirement is published.

Investment: Money committed or property acquired for future income.

Strategic: Decisions or plans designed to impact favorably the key factor son
which the desired outcome of an organization, game system, or war, depends. See
also tactical.

Negotiation: Bargaining (give and take) process between two or more parties
(each with its own aims, needs, and viewpoints) seeking to discover a common
ground and reach an agreement to settle a matter of mutual concern or resolve a
conflicto. Noun form of the verb negotiate.

Relevant: Benefit or cost actually caused by, or expected to follow, a financial


evento r transaction.

Technical barriers: Unreasonable or unwarranted characteristics or specifications


(such as the level of perfomance, packaging, quality, or safety) that a product must
meet before being allowed into a country.

Job: A group of homogeneous tasks relate by similarity of functions.

Promote: The act of advancing an employee from his or her current job position to
a superior job position. A promotion often comes with a new job description, more
responsabilities, and usually a higher salary.
4. Conclusiones

Se identificaron palabras y significados en ingles generando un vocabulario


con informacin que nos beneficia en nuestra carrera y relaciones de negocios.

Es necesario leer artculos en ingles de las negociaciones y proyectos que


se estn implementando en el pas actualmente con el fin de alimentar nuestros
conocimientos y obtener ms vocabulario en ingls.
