ARTIFACT NAME: Exploring Circuits

Rationale Statement:

This Exploring Circuits lesson plan was created to guide students through an

exploratory science activity. The artifact demonstrates my ability to create and plan an

instructional activity for students of varying abilities. Through the use of smart board

technology, journaling, and classroom discussion I was able to support the needs of

various types of learners and help them achieve the goal of creating new types of circuits.

This demonstrates my ability to plan instructional activities that are inclusive of all

learners. I will continue to create hands-on activities such as this within my future

classroom.
