Intro: How To Cleanly Remove Blackheads Painlessly!

Hey momoluvers! Today in making another beauty tutorial and my last for a little while probably. This is a DIY that is super simple and effective. I don't know about you,
but I get REALLY bad blackheads and I've always popped them with my nails. It was creating pimples, damaging skin, and downright hurting! I thought there had to be a
better way! And luckily there is. I found this on YouTube, but they weren't very thorough with the instructions. So I decided to make my own tutorial!

Remember to vote for the hair and makeup contest, I really appreciate it!

Step 1: Supplies
1. Egg whites
2. Paper towel
3. Concealer brush
4. Face wash

Step 2: Prep
Put the separated egg whites in bowl.

Rip the paper towel in half (most paper towels have two layers, simply separate them.)

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Cleanly-Remove-Blackheads-Painlessly/
Step 3: First Layer.
Use the concealer brush to apply egg white liberally where you blackheads are.

Put a small square of paper towel on top of the egg white

Paint over it again with another layer.

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Cleanly-Remove-Blackheads-Painlessly/
Step 4: Add Layers
Let that dry and apply another layer. Apply at least 2-3 more layers and allow time to dry!

http://www.instructables.com/id/How-To-Cleanly-Remove-Blackheads-Painlessly/
Step 5: Removal
When the nose feels like a cast and is a hard plastic texture, rip it off quickly.

Step 6: Wash The Face

Now wash your face with cleanser. I hope y'all enjoyed this tutorial! If you haven't already, subscribe, become a member of the farm family and give a cow its wings! Love
y'all _

I've done this method long time ago and seriously it works!

Such a cute nose, and I def can't see any blackheads, but maybe I'm not sure what to look for? I like the idea that it's such basic stuff used. Thanks for
putting up this 'ible! Will share with my 15-y.o daughter!

Great Submission. Congrats! I think it's cool that a bunch of old guys are calling you out on things. Don't take it as anything other than honest critique and/or
old dudes thinking you are a worthy adversary - it's a compliment to your otherwise perfect submission.

I must definitely try this!

Thank you! Very simple and informative alternative to use vs. expensive products. Don't worry about the naysayers.

I did it it worked so well definitely following you and liking it

While paper towels are the most inexpensive, I found them fragile and teared some... Then I thought of some Polyester non-woven thin sheets ( the ones I
tried came from some thin "reinforcement membrane" used to seal and waterproof roofs) That worked quite better for me than the paper towels. Thanks for
the concept! Amclaussen.

Well, I'm going to try this- it's a problem I've had for years. Thanks!

But- what do you do with the leftover yolks? I've tried a web search and there's some interesting stuff- some need the yolks from a few eggs though. I think
I'll try a Nougat semiprecious......

marybgingery says: Aug 11, 2015. 1:39 PM REPLY

I will try this on my hubby he is a mechanic and has black heads. Thanks so much, we have tried lots of things.

AlanS14 says: Aug 15, 2015. 9:13 AM REPLY

So when you said 'want to try some eggs' he expected breakfast? Then did it work (if he let you)?

To everyone who commented on the blurred photo, the new cover picture has not been touched up or enhanced one bit so I hope this provides more
accurate results! Thanks everyone, Momoluv

StephenA7 says: Aug 13, 2015. 7:24 AM REPLY

It's not good when the after photograph is blurred to make the effect look better.

momoluv says: Aug 13, 2015. 6:07 PM REPLY

Ok, I will re-do the tutorial tonight and take a finalized picture, no filter at all. I hope you are not too upset, I didn't mean to offend anyone in the making of
this instructable. I will change the picture later tonight if that would make you feel better?

MyhriahY says: Aug 14, 2015. 11:20 AM REPLY

I think your tutorial is fine. I appreciate your posting a natural way to possibly get rid of blackheads. Don't get disparaged!

Totally blurred! The full face picture is even more obvious.. You can see specifically where it was blurred. I've heard of this method many times before
and heard that it works quite well for most! But this instructable loses all credibility, really..

I haven't cared about my blackheads since I was a teenager decades ago since I lost hope but now you've rejuvenated it and I may try this the next time I
buy some eggs!

thundrepance says: Aug 13, 2015. 7:48 PM REPLY

with that adorable, furry face you've got, you have nothing to worry about! x^D

juntjoon says: Aug 13, 2015. 9:32 PM REPLY

True.

ashleyjlong says: Aug 13, 2015. 9:26 PM REPLY

Nice DIY tip. I saw a homemade nose strip recipe years ago but this keeps it simple with only two ingredients. Did you ever upload a new photo without the blur
affect? It really is important for users to see the true results of a project.

fstedie says: Aug 13, 2015. 7:01 AM REPLY

Biore makes ready-made strips that do the same thing - but they're expensive!

Great DIY alternative.

thundrepance says: Aug 13, 2015. 7:46 PM REPLY

they [biore] don't work @ ALL on some people {i.e, e.g: ME} x^b

DIY-Guy says: Aug 13, 2015. 12:59 PM REPLY

Some people use masking tape. Is there a reason not to use tape?

momoluv says: Aug 13, 2015. 1:54 PM REPLY

You can, but the masking tape has a stronger hold and instead of pulling the oils out of your face, it can potentially damage the skin

DIY-Guy says: Aug 13, 2015. 7:40 PM REPLY

Ok, I get it. Masking tape can also take some skin with it. I remember from experience now. No sense in making a raw and pink scar patch on skin.

momoluv says: Aug 13, 2015. 1:59 PM REPLY

The egg whites do not have as strong as a hold and will definitely not rip the skin. It doesn't even hurt slightly like plucking your eyebrows would, It is
effective however. If you do not like my results or tutorial, you may watch a youtube video for a similar diy:

dont get all offended, i was just making an observation based on a commercially available product that works the same way.

momoluv says: Aug 13, 2015. 6:04 PM REPLY

I didn't mean to come off that way! I was just trying to provide another source, I apologize if I came off the wrong way:)

DachsieMommie says: Aug 13, 2015. 3:09 PM REPLY

Thank you for this. Aaah, wonderful eggwhites! They are really miraculous. I use them on minor burns to ease pain and prevent blisters from forming.
I was a short-order cook for years, and eggwhites saved me from many hours of misery many times, when I burned my hands. they won't let you go
home if you (just) get a burn. You gotta soldier on with your poor burn right next to the heat that got you. Imagine that!

persia111 says: Aug 13, 2015. 5:52 PM REPLY

Just wondering, how long does it take to dry?

momoluv says: Aug 13, 2015. 6:03 PM REPLY

each layer takes about 10-12 minutes
