(i) Executive Summary (Sharon)

Traditional teaching method is concerned with the classroom is being teacher

oriented. The lessons usually are taught by the teacher using blackboard and
with the present of the teacher. The students are fully dependable on the
teacher to receive lessons and information. Therefore, this method needs more
teaching staff for a larger number of students. Besides that, there are few
disadvantages by using this conventional teaching method such as:
1. Learners who have difficulties in studying will be unable to cope with
how the lesson is delivered.
2. The learners will have very limited access to learn more especially when
they are outside of the classroom.
Our mission is to help SIFU MANDARIN by providing a smart app to bring a
change in their teaching method from traditional teaching to 21 st century
teaching method.

The total estimation cost of our Smart App is RM30,620 which estimation time
to complete the 21st century teaching method. Thank you for your consideration
of our request.

(ii) Problem Statement (Sharon)

The current method/ process is
1. Teachers have to travel all over Malaysia to teach Mandarin.
2. The demand of learning Mandarin has increased.
3. Insufficient Mandarin teacher at Sifu Mandarin to fulfill the customers need.
(iii) Project Objective (Sharon)
1. To design and fabricate Sifu Smart App an effective 21st Century teaching
method to support their existing E Learning book.
(iv) Proposed Solution (Aini)
The solution to the stated issues and above mentioned problems are by the
developing a pressure meat shredder machine as shown in
Figure 1.

1. To Design and develop a Mandarin Bahasa Malaysia application for
Kelas Sifu Mandarin.
2. The characteristics of the SMART SIFU application will be as follows:
a) Aims to teach you the language is by repetition, conversation, and
 audibly speaking
b) Use the listening, reading, writing and speaking task to improve your
language skills, take on interactive learning exercises and quizzes and
stay motivated with regular feedback.
c) Translate sentences or phrase. You can tract your translation history
and searches.
