LIMBUX (High Calcium Hydrated Lime)

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION AND DATA SHEET

LIMBUX (High Calcium Hydrated Lime) is a high purity, CL90-S hydrated lime as defined in BS EN 459-1:2001.
Available as fine, dry, white powder it is used in a wide variety of industrial processes, being one of the most cost
effective alkalis available and the reagent of choice in many applications. Limbux conforms to BS EN 12518:2000
Chemicals used for treatment of water intended for human consumption High calcium lime Class 1, type A.

Hydrated Lime is manufactured from high-purity quicklime at Tunstead, near Buxton, Derbyshire under a quality system
registered to BS EN ISO 9001:2000. The process involves calcining very pure processed limestone at high temperatures in
modern, efficient kilns after which the lime is crushed, screened, hydrated and processed to the required quality and grading
profile. As the product is obtained from a naturally occurring raw material there may be some variation in parameters and the
following specifications are given at 95% confidence levels.
