Instruction : Each question from 1 to 12 is of 3 Marks and there is a negative marking of -1 Mark.
1. In the arrangement shown in figure mA = 1kg and mB = 2kg , while all the pulleys and strings are massless and

frictionless. At t = 0, a force F = 10 t starts acting over central pulley in vertically upward direction. The velocity of A
(in m/s) is 2K, when B loses contact with floor. Then value of K is ____ .
F=10t

2. A particle moves such that x (m) = t2 + t3 ; where t is in second. Find its average velocity (in m/s) from t = 2 sec to
t = 5 sec.

4. An object is hanged from ceiling with help of two light strings A & B. Object stays in
equilibrium with tension in string A & B equal to 40 N and 30 N respectively. Now the
object is pulled by a constant horizontal force F = 120 N perpendicular to initial plane of
object and two strings. if object stays at rest in new equilibrium position (g = 10 m/s2).
Tension in string B is 39 K. Then find the value of K:

moves with uniform speed v = 1 m/s in such a manner that 1 is always directed towards 2, 2 towards 3, 3 towards 4 and
so on. Find the distance travelled by each person before they meet.

in the plane of an incline plane of inclination = 53. The corners of triangular 8
