Lesson Objectives:
Students will be able to write discussion questions for BRAWL

Warm-Up/Review:
None

Time Lesson Procedure Materials

5- At beginning of hour, Teacher will review Computers,


10 procedures for Day 1 of BRAWL access to google
mins o Students will be working within same classroom, copies of
google doc. novel
o Teacher will explain layout of document
and types of each question
Have to be respectful of other
groups work (no messing with other
groups questions/writing)
Cant Highlight text or it could
be deleted
Give Space in between
questions
Have to put team number after
each of their questions
o Students must have at least 10
discussion questions created by 7:00pm
Have to be different from other
groups questions
Teacher will show/discuss
success criteria for generating good
questions
Once review of Day 1 is completed, Teacher
will switch document to Edit and allow groups to
begin working on generating questions
o One computer per group but students
50 may choose to work on phones
mins o Teacher will ask groups to change/edit
questions if they are not meeting success
criteria

Homework:
Complete written response for book project and write discussion questions in BRAWL
document.
