CHEMRITE DESCALER A-28

Product CHEMRITE DESCALER A-28 is the product which is meant
Description for the chemical cleaning of the scaled equipments. It is a
complex liquid formulation acidic in nature but ha built-in
selected penetrating agents, Sequestrant, Dislodging and
corrosion inhibitors on account of which the product performs
efficiently in descaling the scaled equipments without noticeable
corrosion on the various in the circuit.

The scale thus deposited adversely affects the working

to clean the fouled surface in order to maintain the
optimum working efficiency.

Application Details
Direction for use: Drain and flush the system, fill it with clean water. Make up a
5 10% solution. For faster action, the water should be
heated approx 60C and maintain at that temperature.
Circulate the solution. Strength should be maintained if
necessary by adding additional descaler. When scale is
removed, drains flush and then rinse with 0.25 0.1% caustic
soda solution.

Boilers:
Drain and flush boilers, partially fill boiler with fresh
water and heat upto 60C. Introduce Chemrite Descaler
A-28 by means of feed pump. Fill boiler to normal level
keep solution at 60C. circulate the solution. Provide
vent to eliminate gasses formed in descaling. If heavy
scale is encountered drain out used solution anf fill with
fresh solution, when descaling is complete, drain, flush
and fill with fresh water give a final rinse with 2 3
gm/L Soda Ash.

Expose steel:
For removal of rust / scale from expose reinforcement / steel
apply CHEMRITE DESCALER A-28 directly by brush or
spray on steel surface and leave it 5-10 minutes then clean
surface by cloth or pressurized water. For protect surface
permanently should apply 2 coats of anti rusting coating
(Chemrite Ferrogard 101)

Handling Precautions: Chemrite Descaler A-28, is acidic in nature & should be

handled accordingly, use rubber gloves and goggles
during its use.

Handle the product carefully in case it comes in contact with

skin, flush immediately with plenty of fresh water, for 5 to 10
minutes.
