Reflection

This is a great reflection of everything learned in this semester, even though it was an online

class, Jean had contact with us permanently, answering all our questions and concerns this was

an extraordinary experience and learned more than I could ever have imagined , Nutrition, health

care of the problems of anorexia, overweight, the humane body nutrition perspective, the science

that links foods to health and disease, It includes the processes by which the human organism

ingests, digest, absorbs, transport, and excretes food substances.

Today donating food made me reflect a lot on the needs of the world, the hunger that children

spend around the world t the indolence of human beings not to succumb to the pains of others.

The meaning of world hunger is a term which has three meaning the uneasy or painful sensation

caused by want of food; craving appetite. Also the exhausted condition caused by want of food in

the body, and a strong desire or craving appetite. World hunger is nothing but the desire to eat

because most people dont have enough food. Also it means that our bodies need nutrients and if

the bodies need nutrients and if the body asks for it then we need to feed it. Another example is

Malnutrition is a general term that indicated a lack of someone or all nutrition elements

necessary for human health this demonstrates that as world hunger is occurring some of the

things that are happening are the fact that people dont have enough food. Therefore world
Anderson 2

hunger has the meaning that it is the wanting of food and the nutrients that food has so we can

be a healthy.

Poverty and is the principal cause of hunger. For instance, the causes of poverty include poor

peoples lack of resources, an extremely unequal income distribution in the world and within

specific countries, conflict, and hunger itself, this shows that many people are donating it. It also

means that not enough food is being produce so the few years creating less food. For example,

static show. Food dumping a major issue for world hunger. In addition, Physical effects on

children are created by world hunger. For example, good nutrition is directly linked to proper

physical growth and development. Children who are affected by hunger do not have the

appropriate intake of necessary vitamins and minerals to ensure reaching developmental

milestones.

The effects on world hunger not having food to eat, hopes for millions of people to survive like

you and I. People learned to live without money to buy food, food dumping near them, and the

lack of resources. The economy has a mayor impact on world hunger . As people losing their

jobs and food prices going up, it makes it harder for those who dont have food. Food dumping

by people and companies makes it harder for those to get food. Food dumping by people and

companies makes it harder for those people to get food because good food is being throw away

instead of giving it away to the ones that needs it the most. Poverty is a reason in wich world

hunger is created. Many of the poor look for food in the trash cans because they dont have

money to buy the food they need a diet of about , and it those who can get any nutrients have a

weaker learning system. In addition, diseases are created because food is not being consumed in
Anderson 3

the body like parasites and deadly diseases. Ways that people can help out the need ones is

donating food to a local charity or a food bank. Today we see may things happening in the world

but this shouldnt be an obstacle to start a change and help out the ones who need it the most.

Keep in mind that if we donate food, it will safe someone lifes and will make person smile. A

smile can brighten up your day when you know you did something nice for someone else. Be the

example and a leader and start helping out those who need it by donating anything you have.

This can have made a difference. The lessons learned in this class have enriched my knowledge

to do how to take care of my mental and physical health and i like a lot to be able to learn about

Alzheimers disease which is something touching me personally.

Note, the picture below, made me sad, because I know a lot students they are tired to eat food

cans and with this 10 dollars donation they will be able to eat better.

I went to the Smith Market place, I brought Chicken buy 1 get 1 free, 6 pack of 8 leg chicken

each one.

The happiness this activity bring into my life was very rewarding.

Thank you so much Jean for made the learning time the most marveled experience at college.

Infinitely grateful,

Rita Anderson.
