Dear Families,

In a few short weeks our school year will be coming to an end. We have created our
own class family and it is bittersweet to see our time as a group ending. Your
children have learned and grown so much and are ready for the challenges ahead.
Mrs. Snyder and I want to thank you for sharing your children and allowing us to be
a part of their educational journey. We will miss them!
We will spend these last few weeks reviewing letters, colors, shapes, and numbers,
as well as exploring the learning themes Planting, Amphibians and Reptiles,
Transportation, and Summer Fun. Detailed information about our activities will be
posted on the classroom blog (mritterwcs.blogspot.com).

Important Dates:
-Friday, May 12th from 1:00-2:30pm is Moms Day! There will be no school for
half day preschool students. Please arrive at 1:00pm with your mom to enjoy special
activities in the quad and throughout our early childhood building!

-Monday, May 22nd is Water Play Day! We will enjoy doing water activities in our
outdoor play space. Please send your child in their swimsuit and bring a towel. Place
a change of clothes in their locker and we will help them get changed before going
home or to Kids Club/Lunch bunch. Two Day students are welcome to join us for
water play from 9:00-10:15.

-Friday, May 26th is our last day of school! Parents are welcome to join us at
10:30 am in the quad for a farewell luau party. School will dismiss following the
event at 11:15 am. (2 day students are welcome to join us for the party beginning at
10:30!) If your child will be leaving early for vacation and you havent already,
please let me know. I want to make sure to send home all of your childs end of the
year items before you leave.

-Tuesday, May 30th Optional Parent/Teacher Conferences. If you have any

concerns or questions about your child, please set-up a time to meet by e-mailing
me. If you opt not to conference, your childs final progress report will be sent
home in their daily folder.
