EXPERIENCE

San Diego County Sheriff hire date - February 6, 2012

Corporal / Deputy Sheriff - July 20, 2012 to Present.

Currently assigned to the Law Enforcement Services Bureau Santee Command beginning August
2, 2013. Duties included: Providing law enforcement services to the communities of Lakeside,
Santee and unincorporated El Cajon. Using community oriented policing and intelligence lead
policing to conduct investigations and solve community problems. Completed a 90-day TAD to the
Alpine Command and became the Explorer Advisor for the Alpine Station. Had the opportunity to
work many ILP-driven details throughout the Santee Command, as well as several HIDTA/BCST
details in the Alpine/Rural Command. As a member of the department's Uniform Committee, I
attend monthly meetings to evaluate and propose changes to the department's various uniforms. I
have served as the Lakeside Station's terrorism liaison officer. In May of 2016, I became a Field
Training Officer and was subsequently promoted to Corporal in 2017.

Formerly assigned to the Court Services Bureau San Diego Courts from July 21, 2012 to August
4, 2013. Duties included: Providing security services for the San Diego Superior Courts.
Responsible for the safety and timely movement of state, federal, and county prisoners to and from
court appearances. Contacting and arresting local, out-of-county, and federal warrant subjects.
Handling civil processes such as temporary restraining orders, and civil suits. Serving civil
processes and enforcing court orders.

female that had been held captive against her will.

Lieutenant's Letter of Exemplary Performance for writing and serving a search warrant, resulting in
the seizure of 12 firearms, 6.8 ounces of marijuana for sale and $2,000 in cash.

the crime was in progress.
