into eight sections. These sections are: conflicting views about his lineage, early life, foundation

of the Maurya Empire, conquests, conquest of Seleucus Eastern territories, southern conquests,

death and successors. I used this article to find out more information on his parents and who they

were.

out more about his family and who they were.
