I. Concept Statement The children will work on their physical development by riding a bike or car and completing a obstacle course.

Objective 1: The children will use their leg muscles to move the bikes or cars to complete the obstacle course.
HSELOF Sub-Domain 2: Gross Motor. HSELOF Code: IT-PMP 4. HSELOF Goal: Child demonstrates effective and efficient use of large muscles to explore the environment.
Objective 2: The children will use their large muscles to follow the right direction of course.

IV. Materials Needed: Bikes & Cars from upstairs Cones for children to drive around V. Directions / Steps / Process [Parts A, B C]:
A. Motivation The children love to go upstairs, so I will get them all lined up and ask them if they would like to go upstairs and do an activity I have made for them involving the bikes and cars.
B. Steps 1. When we get upstairs I will split the children into two groups. 2. I will get one group a toy bike. 3. I will get the other group and toy car. 4. I will show the children how they have to go around the cones and then turn around once they get to the last cone. 5. I will tell the children they must get out of the car so the next child can do the obstacle course. 6. We will go until everyone has completed the course. 7. If we have time we everyone can go one more time.
C. Conclusion and Transition
Conclusion After they have completed the course they must go sit on the couch and wait for everyone to be done.
Transition We will line up and go back downstairs.
