Academic Honesty Policy


Students with unresolved Academic Honesty Policy (AHP) issues are ineligible for transcripts until all AHP holds are cleared
and StraighterLine has deemed them to be in good standing.

Retake Policy
If upon completion of a course a student has not achieved a satisfactory score (70% by default as per ACE), a student may SCORE GRADE
retake this course by repurchasing and reattempting it in full. Students will wait a minimum of three (3) business days

between attempts. The highest final satisfactory score will be used for the transcript.
80-89 B
Proctoring
StraighterLine requires proctored final exams for all courses with the exception of English Composition courses, 1-credit lab 70-79 C
courses and developmental courses. During proctoring sessions, student identification is authenticated and the student and 60-69 D
work place are monitored during the entirety of the exam. Transcripts are not released if there were any discrepancies in this

Grading Scale
StraighterLine provides a letter and number grade for each course. Colleges have their own policies with respect to how and
whether theyll post grades for transferred coursework. You should check with the college you plan to attend to determine its
