Language Arts: Reading Social Studies Math

Learning Objective: Students will ask who, what, when, where, why, and how
questions to demonstrate learning goods, services, producers, consumers, and how
they help the community.
Assessment: Students will create a their own businesses in which they will act as
producers and consumer and sell a good or service.
Essential Question: How are goods and services produced, consumed, and
exchanged to satisfy the needs and wants of people?
Sub-questions: Who sells goods and services? What are goods and services? How
do the goods and services benefit the citizens? When does supply and demand affect
one another? Why are goods and services needed? Where can they bought?

Assessment: Students will individually create a poster that answer the 6 questions (5
Ws + how) regarding the responsibility of the government and what they provide for
people.
Essential Question: What is the governments job and how do they help people?
Sub-questions: Who are the people in the government? What are goods and
services? How do the goods and services benefit the citizens? When does the
government make decisions about creating goods or services? Why are goods and
services needed? Where are they distributed or placed?
