Friday Canyon Announcements
Continue to pray for the churches in Nicaragua,
particularly the church in Chinandega. Pray for Pastor Sunday, May 7th Service
Frank and his efforts in sharing the gospel and preaching On Sunday, May 7th there will be an evening worship service
the Word. Pray for the strength of the church and all the in place of the normal morning service. Service time will be
believers in it. 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Student Ministries
This upcoming Wednesday, April 26th, Student Ministries will
meetin the conference lounge of theStarbucks at Frontier
Village. All mid-high and high school students are encouraged
to come. They will meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Building Giving
This Sunday, April 30th, is the fifth Sunday of the month and
giving is designated for the building project. Giving online for
the building will be open until May 5.

Today, as a church body lets pray bold and confident Repentance can be one of those Christianese words
prayers for God to use us mightily as witnesses for Him. that often eludes clarity. But what does repentance look
May He receive glory in salvation and may we enjoy being like? The Bible says repentance is required for salvation,
used as His instruments. and as believers, there are many times repentance is
required as we continue to battle sin in this life. It is one
thing to say I am repentant. But the corresponding reality
actually looks like something. Read 2 Corinthians 7:10-11
and see the clear description of how we ought to repent
after we have sinned. It is something that can be seen
and proved. It is good for us, when we have turned
from sin and seek the Lord, to ask ourselves, What does
repentance look like in this situation?
