YEAR OF DISCERMNENT | The Archbishop is once again holding this event at our Church on the
evening of Tuesday, 16th May. We need assistance in the kitchen with baking and for the buying of
food. If you are able to help please speak to Margaret Packham. Thank you.
THANK YOU | to those who have made suggestions about some events that we might have in the fu-
ture. There has been a good response to our first Holy Hour and that will continue (see separate no-
tice). Suggestions have also been made about a study/bible study group and a mens group. Keep the
suggestions coming along with offers to help get these things off the ground!
HOLY HOUR | it is proposed to hold a Holy Hour (with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Evening
Prayer, a time of meditation and Benediction) once a month. The fourth Thursday of the month seems
the best date at 6.00 pm at the moment. The next two will be on Thursday 25 th May and Thursday 22nd
June. For those who want to stay on afterwards it is suggested we have a light supper and drink.
Please suggest to Fr Philip how you would best like to do that bring a plate or order take-away?

share photos at the Church. If you dont have these, why not let other family members including chil-
dren and grandchildren, know!
CHORAL EVENSONG | at St Pauls Cathedral on Tuesday 23rd May, 5.10 pm will include prayers for
our parish. We have received an invitation from the Dean for any parishioners on that evening to at-
tend Evensongall are welcome. How about going as a group and crossing the road for a refreshing
drink afterwards?
