Engage in the world at every step in your education.
As activists, leaders and mentors, HNU students strive
for social justice through service by participating
in numerous community service activities annually
including the cleanup of Oaklands prized Lake Merritt,
working with Habitat for Humanity, and Relay for Life.
CONNECTUP

Student Life Students participate in an array of different


programs, which promote growth opportunities to connect with other
students and the HNU community. This includes The Connection Project
First Year Experience Program, study abroad, service learning, clubs and
university sponsored events to name a few. These programs are designed
for students to connect with others in meaningful ways that will support
their social and academic experienceand to have fun too!
