And the UK's commercial deficit with the European Union is at a record level
and the UK's public debt is as high as Spain's. And Spain's commercial
exports are at a record high
(unlike the UK). At least Maher has exposed that this Brit conservative is
stupidly prejudiced against Southern Europeans and takes refuge in her own
delusions denying the decline of the UK.

And thats not to talk about the bailout. The money was handed to spanish
banks who sent it back to german, etc banks with whom they had debts,
because they also wanted a share in the
spanish house boom
.... and now we have a gaigantic debt that we will have to pay with PUBLIC
money and our banks are stills shit. Same happened to Ireland.
Here in Spain we didnt have public deficit before the crisis. We were one of
the few countries that had superavit.... I will agree tho that our system is
very fragile and need urgent reform.
And thats not to go into corruption.... What i mean is that i am well aware
that Spain has a lot of problems and i am not trying to defend my country (i
am ashamed of it actually) but i just cant
stand half stories and hypocresy
