The Spread Tow Technology.

Oxeon has developed a unique spread tow technology that allows us to produce thin plies using
fibers with the best possible properties and increased mechanical performance of your advanced
composite product.

We normally work with carbon fiber (HS, IM and HM) but has successfully also spread for example
aramid, UMWPE, PBO and Innegra fibers.

With more material packed in the same area, TeXtreme Spread Tow get better

mechanical performance. Less is in fact more.

We use our proprietary spreading technology to produce ultra-thin and extremely smooth UD tapes.
These UD tapes can be woven into biaxial structures with very straight fibers and thus in an optimal
manner utilizing fiber performance.
