In addition to the usual documents required for the issuance of a Schengen Visa, the employer must
provide supporting documents to validate the exemption:
Any document establishing the occurrence of the event and mentioning the venue, dates, duration,
organizers name, main features of the event: commitment of the organizers, invitation letter, posters
and advertisements
Any document proving direct participation in the event: letter from the sport federation, letter of
assignment, employment contract
Any document establishing the occurrence of the event and mentioning the venue, dates, duration,

Any document proving direct participation in the event: invitation letter, letter of assignment,
employment contract
Any document establishing the occurrence of the event mentioning the type of production, work
duration in France, location
Any document proving direct participation in the event : employment contract or any other
document establishing a work relation (job offer, written exchanges/mails with the organizers)
For live performance, copy of the employers legal license to perform live show
If attending a fashion show, any document establishing the occurrence of the event and mentioning
the venue, date, duration, name and function of the organizers, for instance : performance contract
Domestic Staff
Any document providing proof of employment for a minimum of 3 months (employment contract,
salary slips)
Any document providing proof of activity within the scope of domestic staff job description or service
to individual
A commitment form signed by the employer to honor his social obligations in France
Audit and consultancy
Any document providing proof of activity carried out in the course of an audit or consultancy
assignment in computing, management, finance, insurance, architecture and engineering.
Engagement letter or amendment to the employment contract specifying the nature, motive, and
duration of the posting and mentioning the conditions of employment and compensation
Certificate of secondment to the applicable social security scheme or sworn statement of enrollment
with the French administrative body responsible for social security funds (URSSAF)
Any document establishing the occurrence of the activity or of the training session and mentioning
the location, dates, duration, name or the organizers and program: invitation letter
Any document proving the applicant is a certified teacher or has the required teaching skills
