1. The assignment should be submitted individually.
2. If an assignment is found similar to any other assignment (i.e. copy/paste), both the
students will get zero marks.
3. Submission deadline is 8 April 2017. Late submission is not allowed.

The problem:

The Tsunami Activity Reporter is an agent that is used to inform seismologists and coastal
residents of the possibility and/or appending approach of a tsunami.
Work on the possible PEAS of the above Agent
Determine what type of agent architecture is most appropriate (simple reflex, goal-
based, or utility-based). Give a detailed explanation and justification
What (external) performance measures would you recommend for your Tsunami Activity
Reporter?
Describe the properties of the environment of the Tsunami Activity Reporter in terms of the
principal distinctions we can make (observable vs. Non-observable, deterministic vs.
nondeterministic, episodic vs. nonepisodic, static vs. dynamic vs. semidynamic, discrete vs.
continuous). That is, identify in detail which properties are characteristic of the environment
described, and give a justification for your description
