Coeur dAlene School District 9/6/2014-Present
I have taught every subject, every grade, and in every school in the CDA School District
over the last 3 years. Most recently I taught a Special Ed Language Arts/Reading course
and Sp. Ed Mathematics course at CDA High School for the first 4 months of this school
year. I was solely responsible for curriculum preparing, planning and implementing. I was
solely responsible for the testing, assessing and determining grades for 17 Special Ed
students. I was a teachers aide for 3 different teachers assisting them with various
duties for the other 3 hours of the work day. Presently I am working at Venture High
School in charge of the In School Suspension room.

Homeless Outreach Case Manager/Customer Care Coordinator


Heritage Health 2010-2014
I worked as an Americorps member for 2 years out in the field, working with the
homeless. I would assess, refer, write case management plans, and do follow-ups with
over 750 clients. The last 2 years I assisted the Providers with any patient care needs and
follow-ups. I organized and managed the womens health program. I worked with a team
to re-evaluate patients narcotic use and help to create a Pain Management Program.

Tobacco Free Specialist


Independent Contracted Facilitator 2005-2012
I teach, train and coach adults and youth about the dangers of tobacco. I conduct
trainings, workshops, and presentations dealing with alternatives to tobacco use and
second hand smoke. I train youth to make presentations to younger children to help
prevent future tobacco use. In addition, I am actively involved with the community and
work with many different organizations, participating and promoting helpful resources. I
trained over 550 youth in over 12 high school and middle schools/Teens Against Tobacco
Use (TATU)

I conducted one and two day workshops, seminars and conferences across the United
States. Some of the subjects I taught were: Conflict and Confrontation Solutions,
Leadership and Management Essentials, Knock Your Socks Off Customer Service
Training, Time Management and Organizational Skills, Assertive Communication,
Listening, Attitude Adjustment, Managing Stress, Self Esteem, Confidence Building, and
Goal Setting Techniques for Guaranteed Results. I logged over 7500 teaching hours
during the 12 years.

I oversaw the Tobacco Cessation Program. I conducted one-hour group sessions and
followed up with the members to ensure positive results for quitting smoking and other
forms of tobacco. I met with clients individually and created a plan for their tobacco
cessation commitment. I followed up with those clients weekly until they completed the
six-week program. I represented Kaiser Permanente at community functions and charity
events.
