STANDARD LESSON PLAN FORMAT
I. Describe the Class
a. The class has 30 students in the class 2 LD students, 1 ELL students, 4
gifted students.

II. Subject/Skill:
a. Crafts / making snowflakes you will need to be able to use scissors.

III. Objective(s)
a. The students will design a snowflake after learning that all snowflakes are
different. without any students copying each other.

IV. Procedures
1. The students will design a snowflake after learning that all
snowflakes are all different
2. The students will have learned that all snowflakes are
different. you will read the book called the The little book
of snowflakes
3. The teacher will take a piece of paper fold it hotdog style
and then hamburger style, then you will take the scissors
and you can cut different shapes in to it, then you will open
it up and show the class your snowflake
4. After the students, have started working on their own
snowflake. You will walk around the class room and see
how the students are doing on their work
5. You will monitor the students and make sure they are not
copying off each other.
V. Materials
a. you will need the book the little book of snowflakes , white printer
paper (30+) ,scissors (30), pencils

VI. Grouping Structures


a. This assiments will start with the whole class when reading the story with
the students in their seats and you will be at the front of the class reading
the story, then after it will be individual work when working on the
snowflakes then when everyone is done with the project they will share
their snowflakes with the whole class

VII. Modifications
a. For the gifted students you will take them aside after and you will give
them the sheet that is attached where there is 4 different designs and will
have the instructions on how they should fold there paper.

VIII. Assessment/ homework


6. The students will explain why they did that design on their snowflake or
maybe how their snowflakes make them feel.
