Copyright is a legal right given to the creator of a piece of work, stopping others from
stealing, copying or taking the work and passing it off as there own.

Stock photos or stock videos are photos or videos of common places, events, people,
landmarks, nature etc. that are bought and sold on a royalty free basis and can be used
for commercial design purposes.

Royalty free is is the right to use copyright material or intellectual property without the
need to pay licence fees or royalties.

Creative commons in terms of attribution is automatic under the CC BY licence, this


means that with the work you have taken you must give appropriate credit, where it be
providing a link to to the licence and indicate whether changes were made, this can be
done in any way, but can however not be done in a way that suggests the licensor
endorses you or your use.

Creative commons in terms of non-commercial is a licence that stops people from using
other people work for commercial purposes.

Creative commons licence in terms of no derivative works means if you remix,


transform, or build upon any piece of material, you cannot distribute the modified
material.

Creative commons licence in terms of share-alike, describes works or licences that


require copies or adaptations of the work to be released under the same or similar
licence as the original.
