Artifact 1

As my schools LM Coordinator it is very important that I collaborate with my peers to

assure that we are best meeting the needs of all students.

The attached artifact is an example of a school equity audit that I completed for an

assessment course. This shows my ability to use data to assess the extent to which my school

is equitably serving all students. Next year, the Special Education Coordinator and I will be

working more closely to assure that the needs of our students are met. I have redefined my

position next year to take on less instructional time to allow more time to collaborate and

support students. One of our first tasks will be completing an equity audit of our school to

assess the extent to which we may be marginalizing minorities within our school. We then plan

to use that data to plan Professional Learning Communities within the school to address any

inequities that we find.

My ENL coursework has made reinforced the necessity of collaboration among all

educators in my school to best meet the needs of our students.
