Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires services of a qualified individuals to fill the following
posts where selection will be made purely on suitability and merit:-

Additional Director Flight Standards (Operations & Regulations) (EG-07)


(01 Position on Merit)

Graduate
QUALIFICATION
Must have or have held ATPL-A
Must have flying experience of minimum 2500 flying hours on Military /
Commercial Transport Aero plane
Minimum 15 years of Experience in Aviation
Experience with technical training including visual aids and training devices
EXPERIENCE Experience of working relationship with industry stakeholders.
Proven experience of development and successful implementation of
documented management system in an Aviation Organization.
Experience of working relationship with International Aviation Organizations
and industry stakeholders.
Should have broad knowledge of Air transport operations, Technical & Flight
Simulating Training Devices, Meteorology and Climatology & auditing
techniques.
Knowledge of Meteorology and Climatology
SKILLS Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, ANOs ICAO SARPs and other
applicable regulations.
Well versed with IT & MS Office application.
Knowledge of State Safety Program (SSP) & Safety Management System.
Knowledge of Quality Management System.
AGE Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)
Joint Director Air Traffic Control (EG-05) (04 positions on Merit)
(Air Navigation Standards / Safety & Quality Management Systems)

Minimum Bachelors in any discipline from HEC Recognized University /

Bachelor of Aeronautical (Aerospace/ Avionics) or Bachelor of Mechanical /
QUALIFICATION Electrical / Electronics Engineering from HEC Recognized University
Candidate must be registered in Pakistan Engineering Council
Minimum 15 years including the experience of
i) Reviewing Operations Mass & Balance Program Document
ii) Assessment of Aircraft Take-off Gross Weight and its limitations
according to Airfield conditions
iii) Reviewing Operations Specifications of Operators for suitability of
EXPERIENCE authorized Airfield in accordance with aircraft performance
iv) Inspections and reviewing of Flight Crew Manuals and Standard
operating Procedures of Operations.
v) Reviewing of Minimum Equipment list and its amendments
vi) Assessment of routes to various destinations based on Aircraft
Performance and terrain limitations
Extensive knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules, ANOs, ICAO SARPs and other
applicable regulations.
Ability to check the Flight Planning based on loading, fuel consumption and
engine performance
Ability to check Mass & Center of Gravity Computations of Aircraft including
SKILLS
fuel load distribution.
Ability to assess the capabilities of Aircraft to comply with performance /
limitations.
Well versed with IT & MS Office application.
Knowledge of Safety Management System
AGE Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations)
Assistant Director Planning & Development (EG-01) (Merit-01)

Masters of Business Administration / Project Management with at least
Qualification 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA from HEC recognized University /
Institute.

Bachelors of Engineering (Civil) from HEC Recognized University/Institute
Qualification with at least 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
Age Maximum 28 years
Application Procedure:

(a) Interested candidates are required to fill & submit Online Job Application Form available at
www.caapakistan.com.pk within 15 days of publication of this advertisement.

(b) Candidates will be required to upload Detail CV with recent Photograph, Scanned Copies of CNIC,
Domicile, all Educational Documents i.e. Degrees / Certificates, Transcript / Detailed Marks
Certificate (DMC), PEC Certificate / Experience Certificates / ATPL License and other Certificate(s)
(if any) while applying for the job.

(c) In case a candidate does not upload the above documents with the online application form, his/her
application will be rejected.

(d) All the interested candidates must read the Terms of Reference (TOR) mentioned in this
advertisement before applying for the post.

Terms of Reference

i) Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete application shall not be
considered.

ii) Age Relaxation will be allowed to the applicants for the post mentioned at S.No 4 to S.No 7 as per
Federal Govt. rules. The same is available at CAA Website.

iii) Test / Interview will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta for which
separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).

iv) The candidates to be called for the interview have to produce original documents for necessary
verification while appearing for the interview.

v) No TA / DA is admissible for test / interview.

vi) Appointment will be subject to CAAs medical fitness standards.

vii) Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per requirement of CAA

viii) Government servants / employees of autonomous bodies / corporations will be required to submit NOC
from current employer before interview.

ix) Successful candidates will be required to submit the copies of the educational documents duly verified
from the concerned Board / IBCC / HEC at the time of joining.

x) Successful candidates for the post of Assistant Director Airworthiness (Avionics / Aerospace) will have
to execute a surety bond of Rs. 2,500,000/- for serving at least 10 years in Civil Aviation Authority.

xi) Misinformation and any attempt to influence the selection process will be considered as a definite
disqualification for current as well as future recruitment in CAA, even if the candidate is otherwise
qualified.

xii) In case, any educational documents or any other document provided by the applicants is found
incorrect / fake / bogus at any stage, the services of selected candidate will be terminated immediately
and he / she will be blacklisted in future.
