Outcome:
The children coordinated their leg and arm movements very well. They were able
to do the arm and leg movements separately and then coordinate them when we
out them together.
Follow-Up:
I would introduce other kinds of dances and teach them moves from them. This
would allow them to continue to foster coordination.
Objective 2
Met
o Not Met
Outcome:
The children showed amazing balance when doing the ballet moves in particular.
They were able to point their toes and stand on one foot very successfully.
Follow-Up:
I would teach them more ballet moves, particularly ones that require them to go on
their tippy toes. This would increase their balance in a fun way.
Objective 3
Met
o Not Met
Outcome:
The children followed my directions very well. I didnt have to correct any of their
arms or legs. They were very successful in following the direction of my arm
movements and listening to my left, right, up and down verbal instructions.
Follow-Up:
I would play a game that involves copying the leader. They would have to copy the
arm and leg movements the leader does. I would then only give verbal directions
and see how well they did. This would continue to build their directionality and
challenge their skills.
