WHAT DO YOU DESIRE FROM A PASTOR

WHAT DO YOU DESIRE FROM A PASTOR (CONT.)

Dedicated to this group.

Inspiring. Bold. Outgoing. Friendly.
Someone with a fire for the church and the community. It's not just doing things within the church but also
getting out and representing the church in the community and working with other churches, as well.
A Pastor who expresses love to everyone in the church equally. One who tells people he loves them and
shows it through his actions. A pastor who visits the sick. One who has a smile and positive attitude.
Leadership, knowledge
A leader who cares about people. Bold not afraid to talk to the church about matters that need address or
individuals. Someone who puts the church first and desires to see the Holy Spirit at work. Someone who
seeks the lost and preaches messages based on scripture from the Bible. A person who speaks to
everyone regardless of personal agenda. A pastor to me is someone who has a close relationship with
God and the messages they present are evidence of that relationship. Regardless of the topic or the
people feelings when the Holy Spirit is at work in someone it's not about the pastor but about God.
Someone who is knowlegable about the word and is approachable.
Leadership
Someone you can trust and knowledgeable about the Bible--James Madden
Someone who thrives to see people give there life to God. Someone who is open minded.
Someone who isnt afraid of revalance. Someone who wants to help others strengthen there relationship
with Christ. A leader who actually can back up His points in his sermons with scripture. Someone who can
back up his views with scripture.
Realness
A shepherd. To lead so we can follow. To appoint the appropriate people to lead the appropriate ministries.
To be passionate.
Someone real. No fakeness
Lively, joyful, involved in most church events

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS/SUGGESTIONS

Good luck finding our next pastor.

More fellowship opportunities to grow together as a church and to get newer people more involved in church
activities.
Sound people and band should do sound checks before church. Can't hear singers at times.
I think we should focus more on community outreach and doing things in the community than getting a new
pastor. If he is willing, I think we should keep the pastor we have and everyone as members step up and bring
people in.
More connect groups. Being around people who want to grow is a major key. Opportunities to disciple people.
We need to get back in the community. Not so much fundraising but more blessing and ministry opportunities.
And to be humble as we do it. Also, I love what is to come for our church. We are going in a new direction and I
love what God is doing.
I love frontline, and I think it is headed in the right direction. Especially with some of the negative people gone
now. The atmosphere is better.
While I think preaching, testimonies, and praise and worship are important things to have involved in the New
Year's Service, I think the service should be changed. If the entire service is preaching, testimonies, and praise
and worship and it lasts for several hours, the majority of people (if not all of them) who show up for the service
will be people who regularly attend church here. If we revamp the service and mix in some fun activities to go
along with what we already do, it could be more effective in drawing new people to the service.
Keep your head up Frontline. You'll prospure
I've notice a decline at Frontline the past months. I think changes need to be made. Several people have left and
we need to find out why and work to make improvement so we can be about the fathers business
I love our church and our worship. The devil will always throw things at us, but we will always fight to the finish. I
pray God's will be done in every different ministry that is going on.
We just need to listen to the voice of God not mans voice! Word of God speak at Frontline & only Gods voice!!
