International Music Festival

Patrons
Their Royal Highnesses the Princess Margareta
and Prince Radu

It has been 11 years since we have granted our Patronage

to the International Music Festival EUROPAfest.
We are glad that Bucharest is becoming, year by year,
thanks to EUROPAfest, the capital of the European music of
all ages and genres, from classical to jazz, blues and pop.
We believe with trust in our future and we are proud that
EUROPAfest has been honoring, tirelessly, since twenty-
three years ago, the talent, the creativity and the diversity of
young musicians from all the meridians of the globe.
We address our congratulations for all these years full of
accomplishments of the Festival."

LUIGI GAGEOS
Director of EUROPAfest

This year we are celebrating 23 years of

EUROPAfest.
23 years in which we offered to the public
a festival that distinguishes itself through live
music, professionalism and elegance. We
created EUROPAfest with passion and the
belief that we can succeed. As we already
accustomed you year after year in 2016
there will be unique and always surprising performances for
the enthusiastic public with over 300 remarkable artists, from
43 countries, 4 continents, carefully selected by specialists.
Ever since 23 years ago we have achieved performance. We
had thought everything we did as if we would have been on
any of the great stages of the world.
Even if it was hard, in a society in a continuous change, it was
the only thing that we could have done. The results did not let
themselves to be expected, EUROPAfest becoming one of the
most appreciated festivals, both on a national and European
level. One thing is certain, EUROPAfest has created a positive
image for Romania.
