keep struggling at living, instead of believing. When you believe right, youll live

We are Believers, not strugglerswe are supposed to believe, not strugglers
2 Ti 2:15
You can wrongly divide the word of truth, this can lead to wrong believing
3 questions
1. Are we to preach the whole bible, or Jesus from the whole Bible?
2. Are we to preach whatever we read or is there a calling to preach the gospel
of Christ?
3. Are we to preach as though we are still under the OT?
I believe the whole bible, but there is a different between the OT and NT
John 1:17
We are not part of the OT, we are not Jewish and are not a part of the agreement.
We are invited only to the NT the new agreement
If you was in the OT days, youd be wiped out because youd have been a heathen
nation, God has no bysi
The requirements before and after the cross
So many of us are living our lives as like before the cross, and not after the cross.
What is the significance of the death of Jesus on the cross?

What has changed from before and after the cross

If thou what you do determines what you get blessing (v1,2) or cursing (v15)
What you do first, would determine what God does second.
The blessing comes Through YOU
NT

No more Curse! The blessing comes through JESUS, not our efforts or our
struggleswe are the JESUS generation (Matthew 1) not the generation of
strugglers.

We have much faith in our works than what Christ has done on the cross (Works
based mentality: If you want God to be good to you, you have to be good)
Gods not good because we are good, God is good because hes good
We can be obedient now because Christ was obedient, grace makes things easier,
we are not under compulsion anymore.
Satans goal is to attack our identity, because your identity determines a lot about
your life. Your identity has changed you are holy, perfect, redeemed, and
righteous in Christ, out of him you are nothing an all our attempts are like filthy
rags.
Your identity should determine your behavior not vice versa
So many people are all trying to modify their behavior, that is worksyou are to
believe and agree on your identity and act accordingly not trying to modify your
works to become an identity.
You dont go about arresting people to prove that you are a police man, you realize
that you are a police man to arrest people, you can keep arresting people, that
doesnt make you a police man (Man O War)
Your behavior doesnt tell you who you areDog, Man Barking
You need to always ask, is this before the cross or after the cross?
Even Jesus was a Prophet in the OT

all you need to do is to believe it and receive it!

Forgiveness
Mark 11:26, Matt 6:15-16 cf Col 3:13
OT vs 26, vs 15if you

If you dont forgive, you get disease and harmful to the body
Would god not forgive unless you forgive? Has God forgiven the sin of Murder? Yes
at the cross and so many other sin, But why not the sin of unforgvieness?

NT vs 13even as Christ forgave you, Christ forgives you empowering you to

forgiveSo no matter how bad the issue is you can forgive because Christ forgives
cf Eph 4:32. Christ forgive you first. So you can forgive second. When you have a
situation you deem difficult to forgive, you can forgive based on Christs
forgivenessyou can forgive yourself, if Jesus can forgive you, you can forgive you.
You are a forgiver based on what Christ has done.

How can you go to Hell when you are seated in heavenly places with Christ

We need to stop the condemnation via wrongly teaching the dictates of the
law.rhythms of grace rhythms of the law.
Try and fail, get condemned

You begin to feel that God hates you when you are bound up by the law of not being
able to meet up with loving the Lord, when you believe that God loves you, you find
it easy to love God and other people, and you find it easy to ask for forgiveness
because you know he loves you.

Righteousness
Romans 3:10, 19-20
OT - The law brings a knowledge of sin, like a mirror it tells you your faults but
doesnt correct it. A high wall that doesnt matter whether you were a MJ or an Old
woman, you cannot jump over. Self-righteousness is no righteousness

NT vs 21, 22

Giving
There is nothing about Christian character that doesnt involve giving, you have to
have reflex of giving, you love the lord, you give, the lord blesses you love.

2 Cor 9:10
OT- you had to give to get, you have to tithe to get something in return

NT God gives seed to the sower, God is the sower he gives you first, then you
give, he blesses you first then you in return
